In your space, with simple equipment (mat, bands, dumbbells), I’ll guide you through movement sessions that’ll have you feeling stronger, and moving with more ease in no time!

MINDFUL MOVEMENT YOGA INCEPTION

Yoga is not Pilates or Peloton — though it provides a few of the same functions…structured-fitness. 

After years of teaching movement classes with a mindful component for improved strength, core-fitness and cardiovascular health, my teaching repertoire expands…Mindful Movement Yoga.

My training…

I was inspired to study yoga with Stacy Dockins at The Yoga Project – the certification program teaches from a musculoskeletal health and stress resilience lens.


Stacy’s Embodied Posture methodology teaches what we know viscerally…humans are designed to feel, AND our physical sensations are our most potent resource for emotional, spiritual & mental development, growth, and ultimately, HEALTH!

I’d experienced CATHARTIC CLEANSES (physical, mental, and spiritual) from movement practices, but until studying yoga philosophy – empowerment, self awareness, and inner alignment elicited from time on-the-mat, didn’t always transfer to life’s daily complexities.

Because these tools have been immensely helpful for me, I feel compelled to share…


Hence Mindful Movement Yoga was born…the love child of Pilates, mobility, and strength, with a dash of embodied presence and stress-resilience strategies. 

This many-layered synthesis is the result of understanding the effects of stress on the body, the healing power of movement + breath, the value of standing on a strong foundation, and the sense of empowerment that results from practicing challenging things.
