From beautiful Waterbury, VT Becky leads fitness inspired movement classes for women.

Becky has been teaching classes since her college years; where she earned a bachelor’s in Health Science.

Becky’s dedication to living an intentional, conscious, connected life, stems from her Vermont upbringing. Raised in nature, on organic local food (before it was hip) provided deep roots that anchor her well-being philosophy.

While supporting the growth of her four children, she broadened her knowledge of holistic health and launched Mindful Movement.

Her coaching practices integrate influences from Stott Pilates, experience as a college triathlete, Kripalu course work, Dr. Sears Health Coaching certification, Yoga Certification, and most recently her Menopause 2.0 Certification with Dr. Stacy Sims.

Becky has a keen understanding of life’s complexities, and offers practical solutions for enhanced well being, stress reduction, increased strength, and mindset motivation. She carries these threads throughout Mindful Movement classes, 1-1 coaching, and weekly newsletters.

When she’s not working with clients, she enjoys reading, preserving food from her many gardens, deep conversations with friends, and loving on her mini dachshund – (Poppy).

She believes mindful-movement, with a focus on sensing, feeling, releasing, and strengthening helps people feel empowered, live fully in their body, their relationships, and in the world.

Mission · Values

MISSION:

Mindful Movement Mission is to –  ELEVATE wellbeing, health, strength, and movement-confidence, in women.

VALUES:

Mindful Movement invites women to start where they are, move at their own pace, and honor life-quakes along the journey.

NOT BOUND BY ONE SCHOOL OF THOUGHT:

Sustainable holistic health requires thinking outside the box. Classes nurture body, mind, and spirit – inviting participants to release rigidity, perfectionism, and unrealistic expectations.

CAUSE NO HARM:

Mindful Movement works steadily to share the latest fitness and nutrition research, navigate misinformation and polarized food-ideology, and reduce health-access barriers.

BUSINESS CREATES CONNECTIVITY:

Embodied, feminine energy (embracing gender fluidity), has the power to percolate light, love, and connectivity. Through the offering of enriching programs, participants are called to envision the intricate web we all weave and leave; individual, family, community, and environment.

CREDENTIALS, INFLUENCES, AND SOURCES OF INSPIRATION :

A lifelong learner and wellness explorer/researcher, I engage in course-work and programs that intersect and contribute to the health of individuals, communities, and the planet.
