From beautiful Waterbury, VT Becky leads fitness inspired movement classes for women.

Becky has been teaching classes since her college years; where she earned a bachelor’s in Health Science.

Becky’s dedication to living an intentional, conscious, connected life, stems from her Vermont upbringing. Raised in nature, on organic local food (before it was hip) provided deep roots that anchor her well-being philosophy.

While supporting the growth of her four children, she broadened her knowledge in holistic-health & strength conditioning – launching Mindful Movement in 2012.

Her coaching practice integrates influences from Stott Pilates, experience as a college triathlete, Kripalu course work, Dr. Sears Health Coaching certification, Yoga Certification, and most recently her Menopause 2.0 Certification with Dr. Stacy Sims.

Becky has a keen understanding of life’s complexities, and offers practical solutions for enhanced well being, stress reduction, increased strength, and mindset motivation. She carries these threads throughout Mindful Movement classes, 1-1 coaching, and weekly newsletters.

When not working with clients, Becky enjoys: cooking, reading, preserving food from her many gardens, deep conversations with friends, and visiting her kids in local cities.

She believes mindful-movement, with a focus on sensing, feeling, releasing, and strengthening helps people feel empowered, live fully in their body, their relationships, and in the world.

Mindful Movement’s Mission + Values

MISSION: ELEVATE the well-being, strength, and movement-confidence, in women of ALL ages.

VALUES: Mindful Movement invites women to start exactly where they are, move at their own pace, and honor the ENTIRE journey.

NOT BOUND BY ONE SCHOOL OF THOUGHT: Sustainable holistic health is multifactorial – classes/coaching nurtures the body, mind, and spirit.

CAUSE NO HARM: Mindful Movement works steadily to share the latest fitness and nutrition research, navigate misinformation and polarized food-ideology, and reduce health-access barriers (providing free programs at the Waterbury Library).

BUSINESS CREATES CONNECTIVITY: Embodied, feminine energy has the power to percolate light, love, and connectivity. Through the offering of enriching programs, participants are called to envision the intricate web we weave & leave; individual, family, community, and environment.
