After years of teaching movement classes with a mindful component for improved strength, core-strength & cardiovascular health, my teaching repertoire expands…Mindful Movement Yoga.

I was inspired to study yoga with Stacy Dockins at The Yoga Project – the certification program teaches from a musculoskeletal health and stress resilience lens.
Stacy’s Embodied Posture methodology teaches what we know viscerally…humans are designed to feel, AND our physical sensations are our most potent resource for emotional, spiritual & mental development, growth, and ultimately, HEALTH!
Because yoga practice has been immensely helpful to my mental/emotional-life, Mindful Movement Yoga was born – the love child of Pilates, mobility, and strength, with a dash of embodied presence and stress-resilience strategies.
This many-layered synthesis is the result of understanding the effects of stress on the body, the healing power of movement + breath, the value of standing on a strong foundation, and the sense of empowerment that results from practicing challenging things.
